Specialisation: orthopaedics and neurosurgery

After graduating from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences Brno in 2014, she worked for 4 years at the Veterinary Clinic Jesenice. Already there she became interested in orthopaedics and neurosurgery, which was matured by her move to England, where she underwent intensive training in these two fields under the guidance of experienced orthopaedic surgeon Andy Torrington BVMS, CertSAO, CertAVP. This was followed by study at the University of Liverpool from 2019-2022, culminating in the Advanced Veterinary Practice Certificate and the internationally recognised CertAVP. Between 2019-2024 she gained practical experience in orthopaedic and neurosurgery at several referral centres in England and operated on over 2,000 orthopaedic and neurosurgical cases including TPLO, patella luxations, arthroscopies, fracture and deformity corrections, spinal surgery and more.

In September 2024, she returned to the Czech Republic and has been part of the medical team at MEDICANIMA since then.
