Low stress handling
Low stress handling is a key element of modern veterinary care in the world, and is therefore the basis of the approach to patients in our clinic. Our educated staff is ready to adapt to your pet's individual needs.
We are the first clinic in the country to have an international certificate holder for this method of low stress handling on our medical and nursing team.
The environment of veterinary facilities can often be stressful for animals, and high stress levels can lead to a negative experience for the animal patient, limiting veterinary care. Low stress handling methods focus on minimizing stress and ensuring animal comfort during examination and treatment, but it is advisable to apply these principles when preparing for a visit to a veterinary facility.
We also respect a form of cooperative care, also known as consent treatment.
Happy visits
Happy visits are an internationally applied concept aimed at improving the experience of pets with veterinary care. The aim is to reduce the stress of a clinic visit and create a positive experience, or to break down an existing fear or negative experience. Happy visits take the form of a short, non-invasive visit to the clinic, during which pets meet the doctor or nurse in a relaxed atmosphere. Instead of the usual examinations and procedures, the focus is on interaction, play and rewards.
