Hospitalization

An inseparable part of the Medicanima Clinic is also the hospitalization department. Patients are under constant supervision here, and this allows us to react flexibly to their health condition.

We currently offer hospitalization only during daytime hours, i.e. during our opening hours. However, this care also has meaning and is often sufficient to improve the patient's health.

Comprehensive care

We provide all veterinary care services under one roof - from prevention and routine medical treatment to specialized procedures.

Our own laboratory

Through our in-house laboratory, we have the results at our fingertips. This allows us to react very quickly to the actual situation.

The best service

We provide comfort, cleanliness and convenience where you and your pets will feel like you are in the best hands.

How does hospitalization work?

Animals hospitalized in our clinic are carefully monitored and cared for by our experienced veterinary nurses in collaboration with doctors. Our main priority is to ensure the comfort and safety of each patient.

Veterinary nurses regularly monitor the health condition of patients and provide medications and infusions according to the doctors' precise instructions. They also monitor each patient's dietary intake, bowel movements and any changes in behavior. Feedings are given several times a day, taking into respect the patient's state of health. If necessary, animals are fed a special veterinary diet that is adapted to the type of their disease.

Professional care at every step

During hospitalization, you can rest assured that your pet is under the expert supervision of experienced veterinarians and health professionals. Every aspect of care, from administering medications to monitoring condition and health progress, is carefully monitored and tailored to your pet's individual needs.

Modern equipment

The hospitalization room is located directly in the clinic and is equipped with a number of modern pens with adjustable heating intensity and its own lighting. We also have oxygen pens.

The dog pens are separated by a wall from the cat pens for the comfort of the patients. Our goal has been to create an environment that is calm and comfortable so that your pet feels as comfortable as possible during their stay with us.

Higher standard of care

At Medicanima Clinic, we care that your pets always feel at ease and safe. We understand that being separated from them can be very emotionally challenging for you, so we try to minimize the separation time. This is also why some infusions may be administered in your presence for the duration of the procedure.

Open communication

We understand that hospitalization can be a stressful experience for pet owners. That's why we are here to provide you with all the support and information you need about your pet's condition and treatment. We maintain open communication and we are always happy to answer any questions you may have.

Outpatient procedures

It is clear to us that the unknown environment and separation from the owner does not support the fast recovery of the patient. That is why we always try to get the animals back to their home environment as soon as possible after the procedure. In the case of common procedures such as neutering, the patient goes home the same day on their own paws.
